A trained architect and interior designer, Mariana’s path to real estate was a natural one. As a people person with a longtime interest in residential design, architecture, and interiors, Mariana was naturally drawn to real estate, which perfectly encompasses her passions and engages her diverse skillset.
With her architectural background, Mariana has been involved in a number of residential projects from conception to completion, working on design as well as project management. The skills she honed in this career give her an edge in real estate, allowing her to not only manage the complex facets of all transactions, but also to offer her architectural and design expertise to clients in need of guidance. She also studied Interior Design in Milan, giving her the ability to analyze spaces and advise on their potential as well as make suggestions on décor.
As part of the industry-leading Louise Phillips Forbes Team, Mariana uses her deep understanding of spaces as she guides clients in the process of buying or selling a home. She brings her go-getter personality, creative thinking, and deep knowledge of the constructed environment to the team, which consists of members with diverse backgrounds and expertise.
Mariana came to New York to study Broadcast Journalism, another passion that has strengthened her research and analytical skills as well as deepened her natural ability to foster relationships and interact with people of all backgrounds. A native of Ecuador who has lived around the world, Mariana has called the West Village, Upper East Side, and now DUMBO, home.
She studied architecture at Universidad de Belgrano in Argentina and Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador. She also studied Interior Design at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan as well as Broadcast Journalism at the New York Film Academy.
In her free time, Mariana enjoys spending time with her family, especially her husband and young daughter Fabiana. Mariana is an avid runner and a certified yoga teacher. She is fluent in Spanish.
